Sedgwick Eighth Graders Take First At League Scholar's Bowl

SEDGWICK—Sedgwick’s junior high scholars bowl team recently brought home first place from the Heart of America Junior High League Scholars Bowl Tournament.

The tournament was held at the Remington Middle School in Whitewater and had a round robin format since the league has 10 schools. There were nine rounds of competition.

Sedgwick’s eighth grade team finished with a record of eight wins and one loss to earn the title of league champs. Remington’s team earned runner-up honors with a record of 7-2.
