The popular Italian dinner sponsored by the Altar Society of the Sacred Heart Parish is returning in two weeks after a two-year hiatus. The evening features costumed waiters, Italian decorations, an Italian meal, wine or beer, an auction and raffles. This year will mark the 26th year for the dinner.

The dinner has become one of the go-to events of the year. The last time La Dolce Vita was held was Valentines Day, 2015.  With support from the parish and an overwhelming request by citizens, the dinner, usually scheduled around Valentines Day, is back on for next month, Saturday, Feb. 10.

The Altar Society serves up its now famous lasagna, salad, garlic bread, with chocolate and strawberry trifle for dessert. Members of the Knights of Columbus are decked out to serve diners. Catholic youth bus the tables.
