Art Students Win Ribbons At HOA Festival

LEIAH Copeland and her book alteration project.LEIAH Copeland and her book alteration project.SEDGWICK—Sedgwick High School art students took their projects to the Heart of America Art Festival on Wednesday, April 5 at Ell-Saline. Several students came back with ribbons for their work.

Students worked in a variety of different mediums to complete their projects.

Mikey Storey received a merit award for her mosaic work titled Yin Yang Stool. Kaylee Sharbutt received a merit award alKAYLEE Sharbutt and her watercolor piece, Color My Life.KAYLEE Sharbutt and her watercolor piece, Color My Life.so for her watercolor titled Color My Life.

Mallory Croxton brought home a second-place ribbon. Judston Agee received a third place ribbon for his structural rendition called Paris.

Leiah Copeland placed in two different categories. She received a first-place ribbon in book alteration for her ‘80s inspired entry. She also received a merit award for her acrylic work of James Dean.
